With views out onto open meadow guests will be able to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside, the benefit of a remote location, and the regenerative and conservation farming practices upheld on the farm which attract varied and beautiful wildlife to the area.
It is an incredibly cosy space, where you can fling open the doors on a beautiful day and take in the sounds and the beautiful parkland beyond or settle in with fire and let the storms pass.
The design of our first cabin, McLaughlin’s, came about in collaboration with renowned Shrewsbury architect, James Wade following a retrospectively happy accident involving a feed lorry and an old Dutch barn. The collapse of the barn left us with an abundance of curved tin to recycle and the idea to see how much of the building we could make out of material found onsite here. It was a labour of love but we are delighted with the results and very proud of McLoughlin’s as a wonderful example of what can be achieved in re and up-cycling
